Running Through The 6

Another week in paradise!!
So this week was so awesome. There was so much that happened and it
was busy and tiring and just awesome. So first off, turns out that the
stake center where we hold baptisms was booked all day Saturday so we
had to figure something else out, so Curtis got moved to Friday
afternoon, Dae got moved to Sunday morning(more on that lovely morning
later), and we moved Zandy to September 10 because her mom is
scheduled to be baptized that day and some other stuff came up!
Anyways, I'll start with Monday.

Monday we had Pday and played this game called Speed Ball which is
basically Ultimate Frisbee with a basketball and more
contact....needless to say I am killer on D but can't shoot worth crap
hahaha but that night we visited with the Pink family who are a part
member family. We are helping the wife get back to the temple and
trying to get the husband interested they are super cool and make us
good food so that's a plus!!

Tuesday we stopped by Wills house but he is so busy right now and
stuff so we are just going to drop him till October. We will still
stop by to check up on him. We then went finding since we want more
investigators and we found this guy named Jack who is a recovering
drug addict hahahaha he is so funny. He says that when we meet with
him he feels happy and feels like he can stop the drugs and make
everything alright and so we helped him to see that that is the Spirit
that is doing that so we will see where that goes. Then we met this
family who the parents are semi active but they have like 4 kids that
aren't baptized but are over 8 so we are teaching them and hopefully
getting them baptized!

Wednesday we had our first zone conference and learned about how we
can be Master Teachers and about how we need to be exactly obedient
because we are supposed to love the Lord and one of the greatest signs
of love is loyalty. That took up most of the day, but we met with
Curtis and just kinda prepared him for his baptism and he was so
pumped.

Thursday we did some service with a bunch of people from the zone, but
it was literally just Elder To'alepai and I, Elder Commerer who is
from New Zealand and his companion Elder Heslop who is from Mesa, and
it was us and like all the sisters in the zone hahaha it was funny
there is a sister from Fiji named Sister Cinavi and she is like my
favorite person hahaha she makes so many jokes and always yells at
people in Fijian. After we met with Greg, Siliva, and their family and
that was good. We are working on Gregs smoking problem.

Friday we fixed our bikes since our tires have been popped for like 2
weeks hahaha and then we had Curtis's baptism!!! I had to chorister
for it and I kept messing up hahaha and this older lady from the ward
sat me down and gave me a lesson on how do it hahaha It was so cool. I
was a witness for the baptism and Elder kept messing up the words so
Curtis got dunked 3 times hahaha he says it was good for him, he
needed to be extra clean and perfect haha! Super cool experience
happened later. We were riding around cause our investigator cancelled
on us and so we stopped and prayed and got the idea to go to our
recent convert Evelyns home and she wasn't home but her mom and her
moms friend were outside and talked with us and said that they were
actually just talking about meeting with missionaries and want to take
the lessons, so that was a huge testament to miracles!! After we were
riding home and the Nelsons came out and stopped us and had us come
into their backyard and they have every kind of fruit imaginable and
they gave us a ton so hallelujah that was breakfast today haha.

Saturday we rode around all day cause our investigators cancelled and
we taught 4 lessons to people just from tracting and riding around it
was really nice! We checked on Nicole and Zandy and are doing our best
to get Nicole ready for baptism, just trying to help her with her
smoking problem.

Sunday we woke up at freaking 4:50am to go walk to the church and
start filling the font so it would be ready for 7....needless to say I
was dead the whole day haha. But it was an amazing service and Dae got
baptized! Later we went to that ward and confirmed Dae and Curtis and
the spirit was so strong there. We also taught this part member family
the Bradshaws and the two boys are 10&9 and want to be baptized and
are on date for the 3rd!! It's awesome to see the Lord put people
infront of us who are ready to be baptized. I love this Gospel.

Well, I know this letter is long haha I am sorry just had a lot to
say!! I hope you're all doing well and that school is going well! Want
to give a quick shoutout to Rylan, he leaves this week for his mission
is Brazil!! Good luck buddy!! Also, I challenge all of you to find
something in your life that you could improve on and become more
obedient to the commandments from and show your love and loyalty to
Christ! I know as you do so, you will receive blessings and be
strengthened and helped through your trials! I love and miss you all
and love hearing from you!

Love,
Elder Faraoni
