18 and Didn't Get to Vote

(Hello in Samoan) I hope everyone had a great week! This week was
crazy for sure. So much stuff happened it seems like forever ago but
just yesterday. Crazy stuff. Anyways, totally didn't realize it but I
just hit my 4 month mark! Elder Heslop pointed it out to me. Time is
flying!

So Monday we just played games and got food and stuff, then we had a
lesson that night with the Mendenhalls! That went good. They had us
play stick pull with them. That was funny hahaha I beat everyone but
it was a good time all around. Tuesday we had interviews with
President Allred!! That guy is awesome. He gives such good advice. And
his love really shows. That was good to see him and get to talk with
him. After, we were walking out with the Lorin Farr Elders and they
jokingly said "Lets take Presidents car" and we tried the doors and
they were unlocked hahaha so we all hoped in and took a picture then
got out as quick as we could! That night we helped Greg move from the
3rd Ward to the 6th Ward and that took up like the entire night. When
we got home, we had tons of people texting our phone and Elder
Woolwine's brother was nonstop sending updates on the election all
night, so we didn't get to bed till late and yeah Trump getting
elected was a shocker. It's funny all the old people we talk to are
either super excited or super pissed hahaha.

Wednesday we went to Chick fil a for Sister Brunts birthday (the
sister in our Stake) and that was fun. After that we just walked
around and talked with people, nothing very exciting. Thursday we
tracted and walked and tracted and walked and yeah not a whole lot but
lots of crazy people!! That night, we stopped at the YM Basketball
games and they had a ton of nonmembers there so we talked to them, but
then the 3rd Ward needed someone to help them play so I got to play
basketball with all the kids hahaha I will try attaching a video of
me. It was funny stuff.

Friday we wrote our talks and went to lunch with President
Christiansen, then after did service with Brother Liptrot and the
Lorin Farr Elders! That was fun, and then after Sister Liptrot made us
all homemade fried chicken and mashed potatoes and it was AMAZING.
Apparently people are starting to know me as the guy that has a
bottomless pit for a stomach....word is getting out I guess! Saturday
we did service like all day long. We moved 2 people, helped another
person clean their house (it was disgusting I had to use a screwdriver
to scrape crap off of their fridge pics at the bottom) and then hung
another's Christmas lights! Then that night we had a Murder Mystery
Dinner with the 2nd Ward, that was pretty fun! We didn't stay the
whole time, just long enough to get a couple pulled pork sandwiches
and homemade ice cream. That night we had a couple lessons, and then
Greg, Sylvia, and the kids invited us to go see Julian play soccer so
we went with them!

Sunday was great! We spoke in the 2nd Ward, I spoke on scripture study
and it seemed to go alright. Then we took Greg and Sylvia and family
to church and they loved their new Ward! We had a bunch of meetings
all day, and then that night we went back to Gregs and watched
Ephraims Rescue with them, and the Spirit was so strong! They both
said that the pioneers are amazing and then priesthood is really
powerful, and Sylvia talked about how in her church they don't bless
and heal people like Jesus did, and it really is a testimony that this
church is true and the priesthood power has been restored!

I hope everyone has an awesome week, and continues to be safe! I
challenge all of you as this upcoming holiday season comes to remember
to be thankful and remember Christ in all you do! Love and miss you
