9 Lives

Hello once again!!

Hope everyone is doing well!! This week has gone by so fast. This week
is transfer week, but luckily my companion and I are staying together
for at least another transfer!! Anyways, time has flown by! I've
already been gone for 2 months!! Crazy stuff.

This week we played sports yet again on Monday, and it was a lot of
fun! Then that night we had some appointments with the Nielsen boys
and Nicole and Zandy, and that was fun the boys are crazy and are
super energetic!! Tuesday we went and worked out, and then played ball
with Charles again, he is doing really good, he says meeting with us
really helps him feel good and feel like he can beat his addiction so
that's awesome!! That day we walked around a lot and just tried to
meet with people, and we went with our senior couple that night to go
and visit people! We met this really nice less active lady named
Michele who knows basically nothing and says the other missionaries
hardly taught her so we had a good lesson on the restoration.

Wednesday we had our last district meeting of this transfer, and we
got to throw water balloons at our zone leaders it was so funny haha!
One of them got hit in the face and ended up getting a huge black eye,
and it is the end of his mission and so he went home today with a
black eye! So funny. Then we had a lesson with the Bradshaw boys, and
we are hopefully getting them baptized this weekend! The only holdup
is if their brother is worthy to baptize them but he met with bishop
yesterday so fingers crossed!

Thursday we did some service and helped a lady put a new deck up, and
then we had another lesson with Michele, she had a lot of questions
about the Plan of Salvation and where we go after we die and stuff and
it was a really awesome lesson. We had another lesson with Curtis as
well, he is getting interviewed for a temple recommend to go do
baptisms! It's so awesome. Also, today I ripped my pants hahaha I was
jumping and it somehow ripped on the side of my leg so I have to get
that fixed hahahaha,

Friday we had a ton of cancellations so we just contacted and tried to
visit all of our referrals and stuff and that night had a really great
lesson with Mike. Saturday we had another lesson with Jamie and she is
really progressing we are super hopeful about her. The people of Utah
are the best though! Almost as good as home; they take great care of
us here. Sunday we had a bunch of our investigators at church so that
was great! All of the sacrament meetings we went to reminded me of
home, because there was many comments both from the stand and the
congregation about how they jokingly questioned if the church was
still true after BYU lost to University of Utah, and that reminded me
of the BYU fans back home that I know are salty about it hahaha and
then we taught the 1st Ward youth and we shared the 4 minute
restoration and all the women were crying it was super spiritual.
then Elder Andrus(the ZL) went to Logan since he is leaving so Elder
Roveri has been with us the past little bit and that has been funny
he's a cool guy. He's been out a little over a year. We have been
doing a lot of visits!

This was a super fun week and I really enjoyed it! I hope you all are
having fun!! Love hearing from each of you and hearing about your
weeks, hope the next one is great!

Love,
Elder Faraoni
