Hello again!!
I hope everyone had a great week and is doing well!! This week was exciting and busy and tiring but great! We have been waking up in the mornings and playing racquetball with our Stake President President Christiansen, he is a funny guy!
So Monday we had the usual, played sports with all the new zone so that was fun! We have some fun people in this zone it's awesome. That night we had a lesson with a partmember family the Funks, he is a returned missionary and she isn't a member and we ate dinner and then had a lesson on the Book of Mormon, it went really well!
Tuesday we went and did service for this lady and we basically redid her whole yard and moved heavy rocks and stuff...super tiring. We gave this other lady a blessing that night, and then we went to 2nd Ward Mutual, and they did the Amazing Race and our team won!! It was a ton of fun they are some cool kids and there were a bunch of non members there so we are pumped! Wednesday we went tracting and ran into this former investigator named Bob who basically just wanted to Bible bash and we tried our best not to and we showed him why we need the Book of Mormon and he seemed to understand but who knows!! Then that night we went to 3rd Ward Mutual and they had this dinner thing and it was delicious and then we taught a lesson to them and then played some Basketball with the guys and that was fun!
Thursday was crazy. We walked around literally all day and it was super hot and then around like 3 the clouds rolled in and it just started pouring buckets and buckets....and hailing....and there was a tornado....it was sketchy. We had umbrellas but they were basically worthless we still got drenched and it was pretty awesome. And it was freezing and that night we walked around soaking wet and hahaha yeahhhh.
Friday the high was supposed to be 52 but it only got up to 48....and it rained all day long and yeah but we had a lesson with Jamie and the Spirit was so strong and we got her to pray!! She really liked the part about where we go after we die, it went awesome. That night we met with Mike and his family, the kids are hilarious hahaha the little son Jack reminds me of Michael when he was younger, he sits right next to me the whole time and eats all my candy!! Love those kids haha. Saturday we went contacting again and found this lady who is sisters with one of our former investigators and is super interested so we are pumped!!
Sunday we went to a couple wards and it was primary programs, which are the best, and then we taught primary to the 3rd Ward! We had another meeting with Curtis, he is the man! He's excited for the temple and for general conference this week!
Speaking of which, I challenge you all to watch conference this upcoming weekend and listen to the words of the prophet! I know that if you do so, you will be blessed and will feel of our Saviors love for you. I hope you all have a fantastic week and just want to say have fun at homecoming for all my homies still in school! Love and miss you all!
